Bohr postulated that the angular momentum of an electron revolving in a stationary orbit is quantised: mvr=nh2πmvr = \dfrac{nh}{2\pi}.

Niels Bohr's second postulate states that an electron can move only in those circular orbits around the nucleus for which its orbital angular momentum is an integral multiple of h/2πh/2\pi (where h is Planck's constant). This is what restricts the electron to only certain fixed (stationary) orbits instead of every possible radius, and it is this quantisation condition, combined with Coulomb's law providing the centripetal force, that Bohr used to derive the allowed orbit radii and energies of the hydrogen atom.
