From TC, TFC = TC at zero output = 10; TVC = TC − TFC; AC = TC/Q; MC = TCn − TCn−1.

Given TC schedule: Q: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 → TC: 10,40,60,80,95,110,130,160.

Step 1 — TFC: Total fixed cost is the cost incurred even when output is zero. At Q = 0, TC = 10, which is entirely fixed cost. So TFC = 10 at every level of output.

Step 2 — TVC = TC − TFC:

  • Q=1: 40−10 = 30
  • Q=2: 60−10 = 50
  • Q=3: 80−10 = 70
  • Q=4: 95−10 = 85
  • Q=5: 110−10 = 100
  • Q=6: 130−10 = 120
  • Q=7: 160−10 = 150

Step 3 — AC = TC ÷ Q:

  • Q=1: 40/1 = 40
  • Q=2: 60/2 = 30
  • Q=3: 80/3 = 26.67
  • Q=4: 95/4 = 23.75
  • Q=5: 110/5 = 22
  • Q=6: 130/6 = 21.67
  • Q=7: 160/7 = 22.86 …
