c-DNA (complementary DNA) is intron-free DNA made artificially from mRNA by reverse transcriptase; s-DNA (satellite DNA) is naturally occurring, repetitive non-coding DNA used in DNA fingerprinting.

Two differences between c-DNA and s-DNA:

c-DNA (complementary DNA)s-DNA (satellite DNA)
It is synthesised artificially in the laboratory from a mature mRNA template using the enzyme reverse transcriptase. It is a naturally occurring part of the genome (bulk DNA that forms separate 'satellite' peaks on density-gradient/buoyant-density centrifugation).
