The frog's cloaca is the common terminal chamber for the alimentary canal, the urinary tract, and the reproductive tract.

In the frog (and amphibians generally), the hindgut, the excretory ducts, and the reproductive ducts do not open separately to the outside as they do in most mammals. Instead they all converge into one chamber, the cloaca, which then opens to the exterior through a single cloacal aperture.
