Wavelength is the spatial repeat length of the wave, frequency is how many waves pass per second, and amplitude is the maximum displacement of the vibrating particles.

Wavelength (λ): The wavelength of a periodic wave is the minimum distance between two points on the wave that are in exactly the same state of vibration (same phase) — for example, the distance from one crest to the next crest, or from one compression to the next compression. It is measured in metres.

Frequency (f or ν): The frequency of a wave is the number of complete oscillations (or complete waves) that occur, or that pass a given point, in one second. It is measured in hertz (Hz), where 1 Hz = 1 oscillation per second. Frequency is related to the time period T (time for one complete oscillation) by f = 1/T.
