In management studies, Principles of Flexibility refers to the idea that managerial principles, procedures, and organisational structures must be adaptable to changing circumstances. No rule is absolute. What worked brilliantly for a company in 2010 may be obsolete in 2025. A flexible manager knows when to relax a standard operating procedure, when to modify a policy, and when to abandon an old practice entirely.
