The omitted interest on capital (₹20,000) should have been credited to partners on the basis of their capitals, but instead profit of ₹20,000 was shared in 2:1:1. Correcting both together, Dravid was over-credited by ₹1,000 and Sachin under-credited by ₹1,000, so one entry sets it right: Dravid's Capital A/c Dr ₹1,000, To Sachin's Capital A/c ₹1,000.
