Adding 4π4\pi (two full rotations) to −11π3-\dfrac{11\pi}{3} gives the coterminal angle π3\dfrac{\pi}{3}, so the value equals sin⁡π3=32\sin\dfrac{\pi}{3} = \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}.

Since sine has period 2π2\pi, we can add any integer multiple of 2π2\pi to the angle without changing its value.

−11π3+4π=−11π3+12π3=π3-\dfrac{11\pi}{3} + 4\pi = -\dfrac{11\pi}{3} + \dfrac{12\pi}{3} = \dfrac{\pi}{3}

So sin⁡(−11π3)=sin⁡π3=32\sin\left(-\dfrac{11\pi}{3}\right) = \sin\dfrac{\pi}{3} = \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}.
