Osmotic pressure equality defines isotonicity; gas solubility falls with heating because dissolving a gas releases heat, so more heat (higher T) pushes the equilibrium back toward the gas phase.

Isotonic solutions: two solutions having the same osmotic pressure at the same temperature are called isotonic. When separated by a semipermeable membrane, no net flow of solvent occurs between them since their 'osmotic pull' is equal (e.g. 0.9% NaCl solution is isotonic with human blood plasma, so it is used for intravenous drips).
