Both complexes are low-spin, inner-orbital (d2sp3) octahedral complexes because CN- is a strong-field ligand, but Fe2+ (d6, even number) pairs completely to 0 unpaired electrons (diamagnetic) while Fe3+ (d5, odd number) is left with exactly 1 unpaired electron (paramagnetic).

Ferrocyanide ion, [Fe(CN)6]4-: the metal is Fe2+, configuration [Ar]3d6. CN- is a strong-field ligand (very high in the spectrochemical series), so it forces all 6 d-electrons to pair up within the three t2g-type orbitals (low-spin arrangement): t2g6 eg0. This leaves the two eg orbitals completely empty and available (along with 4s, 4p) for d2sp3 hybridisation — an inner orbital, octahedral complex. Since all 6 electrons are paired, [Fe(CN)6]4- is diamagnetic.
