Objective Type Questions

Exercise 1.8 is the chapter's closing multiple-choice review, in the standard "choose the correct or the most suitable answer from the given four alternatives" format. Its 25 questions deliberately revisit every idea built up in the chapter: the central adjoint-inverse identity and its many corollaries (orders, determinants of adjoints, iterated adjoints, scalar and product laws for the adjoint, symmetric/diagonal special cases), the transpose-inverse and orthogonal-matrix relations, direct computation of an inverse entry, the rank of a matrix with proportional rows, a logarithmic Cramer's-rule-style system, the Rouché-Capelli consistency criterion and a parametrised augmented matrix, and a parametrised homogeneous system's non-trivial-solution condition.
