Realisation Account = account prepared on dissolution to find profit/loss on realising assets and paying liabilities.

At the dissolution of a partnership firm, a Realisation Account is opened to close the books. All assets (except cash/bank) are transferred to its debit at book value and all outside liabilities to its credit.
