Cyclic organic compounds are classified as: Homocyclic (Carbocyclic) — the ring is built entirely of carbon atoms; this class further splits into Alicyclic (e.g. cyclopropane, cyclohexane) and Aromatic (e.g. benzene). Heterocyclic — the ring contains one or more non-carbon (hetero) atoms such as O, N, or S in addition to carbon (e.g. furan has an oxygen in its 5-membered ring; pyridine has a nitrogen).
Checking the options: Cyclopropane (C3H6) — a 3-membered all-carbon ring, a classic alicyclic homocyclic example. Benzene — a 6-membered all-carbon aromatic ring, also homocyclic. Furan — a 5-membered ring containing one oxygen atom, so it is heterocyclic, NOT homocyclic. Toluene — benzene ring with a -CH3 substituent; the ring itself is carbocyclic too.
