GDP(MP) is domestic final output at market prices; GDP(FC) = GDP(MP) − net indirect taxes; NNP(MP) = GDP(MP) + NFIA − depreciation.

This answers the first set of aggregates (RBSE/CBSE Class-12 national-income accounting).

  1. Gross Domestic Product at Market Price — GDP(MP): The money value of all final goods and services produced within the domestic territory of a country during an accounting year, measured at market prices (which include indirect taxes). 'Gross' means depreciation has not been deducted; 'domestic' means only output produced inside the country (regardless of who owns the factors).
  2. Gross Domestic Product at Factor Cost — GDP(FC): The same domestic output valued at the cost of the factors of production (i.e. excluding net indirect taxes). It is obtained from GDP(MP) by removing Net Indirect Taxes: GDP(FC) = GDP(MP) − Net Indirect Taxes, where Net Indirect Taxes = Indirect Taxes − Subsidies.
  3. Net National Product at Market Price — NNP(MP): The market value of final goods and services produced by the normal residents of a country (national concept), after deducting depreciation (so it is 'net'). Starting from GDP(MP):
