Bhawana's share, short of her ₹27,000 guarantee by ₹3,000, is made good by Kavita and Payal in 2:1, giving final shares Kavita ₹30,000, Payal ₹15,000, Bhawana ₹27,000.

Step 1 — Bhawana's normal share (at her agreed 1/3 share in future profits):

Bhawana's share = 1/3 × 72,000 = ₹24,000

Step 2 — Compare with the guaranteed amount:

Guaranteed minimum to Bhawana = ₹27,000

Deficiency = 27,000 − 24,000 = ₹3,000

Since Bhawana's actual share (₹24,000) is less than the guaranteed amount (₹27,000), this deficiency of ₹3,000 must be made good by Kavita and Payal.

Step 3 — Remaining profit after Bhawana's normal share, shared by Kavita and Payal in their old ratio 2:1:

Remaining profit = 72,000 − 24,000 = ₹48,000

Kavita's share = 2/3 × 48,000 = ₹32,000

Payal's share = 1/3 × 48,000 = ₹16,000

Step 4 — Deficiency of ₹3,000 borne by Kavita and Payal in their profit-sharing ratio 2:1:

Kavita bears = 2/3 × 3,000 = ₹2,000

Payal bears = 1/3 × 3,000 = ₹1,000

Step 5 — Final shares:

Kavita = 32,000 − 2,000 = ₹30,000

Payal = 16,000 − 1,000 = ₹15,000

Bhawana = 24,000 + 3,000 = ₹27,000

Check: 30,000 + 15,000 + 27,000 = ₹72,000 ✓
