Think of any successful organisation you know — a school, a hospital, a cricket team, or even a family business. What makes it work? It’s not just the building, the equipment, or the money. It’s the people — the teachers, doctors, players, and family members who actually do the work. Imagine you are organising a group project for a college competition. You don’t just grab anyone who is free. You think about who is good at research, who can design, who can present well. Staffing is the human resource function of management.
