Net Profit Ratio = (Net Profit ÷ Net Sales) × 100 — a measure of overall profitability.

The Net Profit Ratio expresses net profit (profit after all operating and non-operating expenses, but conventionally before or after tax as specified) as a percentage of net sales/revenue from operations.
