The minimum point of the AC curve is the break-even point, called the point of no-profit no-loss.

The average cost (AC) curve is typically U-shaped in the short run. At its minimum point, average cost is at its lowest possible value. If the market price happens to equal this minimum AC, total revenue exactly equals total cost (which already includes normal profit as part of cost) — the firm earns zero economic (supernormal) profit, but also suffers no loss. This is why the minimum point of the AC curve is called the 'point of no-profit no-loss' or the break-even point.
