Meaning of MNC

A Multi-National Corporation (MNC), also called a transnational corporation, is a large company that owns, controls or manages production and marketing operations in more than one country, while its headquarters (parent company) remains in the home country. It has a huge capital base, advanced technology, a global brand and a professional management. MNCs are studied in the AP Intermediate 1st-year Commerce syllabus, whose treatment of modern business forms aligns with the NCERT/CBSE commerce curriculum.

Merits of MNCs to the Home Country
