Emotionally driven reactions such as aggression and restlessness arise from the limbic system, which works closely with the hypothalamus to shape emotional behaviour.

Behaviour such as aggressive outbursts, the use of abusive words, or restlessness are not simply voluntary decisions in the way movement is — they are expressions of underlying emotional states, and the brain regions responsible for regulating emotion are the ones involved here.
