Speed of sound in a gas is independent of pressure, although it does depend on temperature and (weakly) on humidity.

Speed of sound in a gas: v=γPρv = \sqrt{\dfrac{\gamma P}{\rho}}

For an ideal gas at fixed temperature, density ρ\rho is directly proportional to pressure PP (from PV=nRT⇒ρ=PM/RTPV=nRT \Rightarrow \rho = PM/RT), so the ratio P/ρP/\rho stays constant even if PP changes — meaning vv does not change with pressure at constant temperature.
