- Reduce vehicular emissions: prefer public transport, carpooling, cycling or walking over using a private vehicle for short trips; keep vehicles well-maintained and use cleaner fuels (CNG/unleaded petrol) where possible.
- Conserve energy: switch off appliances and lights when not in use, and choose energy-efficient devices, since a large share of pollution originates from power generation.
