A Bohr stable (stationary) orbit is one where angular momentum = nh/2π and the electron radiates no energy.

Bohr's stable (stationary) orbit. In Bohr's model of the atom, the electron does not revolve in any arbitrary orbit. It can move only in certain allowed circular orbits called stationary orbits (stable orbits), which satisfy the quantisation condition: the angular momentum of the electron is an integral multiple of h/2πh/2\pi:

mvr=nh2π,n=1,2,3,…mvr = \frac{nh}{2\pi}, \qquad n = 1, 2, 3, \dots

where m is the electron mass, v its speed, r the orbit radius, h Planck's constant and n the principal quantum number.
