There are four: Reliability, Relevance, Understandability and Comparability. Information that possesses all four is dependable, meaningful, clear and capable of being compared, and therefore genuinely useful for decision making.
Meaning
Accounting information is prepared so that users can make sound economic decisions. For it to serve this purpose well, it must possess certain qualities. These qualities are called the qualitative characteristics of accounting information.
The four qualitative characteristics

Reliability — Reliability means that the user can depend on the information. To be reliable, accounting information must be free from material error and bias, it must faithfully represent the transactions and events it claims to represent, it must be verifiable (capable of being checked against evidence/source documents), and it must be neutral (not slanted to produce a predetermined result). Reliable information gives the user confidence to act on it.

Relevance — Information is relevant when it is useful for the decision the user has to make and is capable of influencing that decision. To be relevant, information must be available in time, and it must help users predict future outcomes or confirm/correct their past expectations. Information supplied too late, or which has no bearing on the decision, is not relevant.

Understandability — Understandability means presenting information in a clear and simple manner so that users can grasp its meaning. The reports should be expressed and arranged so that a user with reasonable knowledge of business and accounting can interpret them correctly.
