Types of money: metallic (standard & token) coins, paper/currency money, credit/bank (deposit) money, and legal-tender/optional money. Functions: primary (medium of exchange, measure of value), secondary (store of value, standard of deferred payments, transfer of value) and contingent functions.

Types (kinds) of money:
