Hard exercise increases ADP, decreases blood glucose, and increases lactic acid — but muscle/liver glycogen DECREASES because it is being consumed as fuel, so 'increase in glycogen' is the exception.

During vigorous/hard exercise, oxygen supply to muscles often becomes insufficient for purely aerobic respiration, so muscles rely partly on anaerobic glycolysis:
