Makarasana (crocodile pose) is a relaxing prone posture with the head resting on folded arms; its only stated contraindication is later-stage pregnancy, because it requires lying face-down.

Procedure (as given in this unit's fuller 3.5.10 description): Lie down on the floor on the stomach, with the hands folded under the head. Place the right palm over the left palm on the ground, and rest the head over the right palm in a relaxed way, closing the eyes. Stretch the legs as far as possible, with the toes pointing outward. Relax the whole body completely, breathing normally and slowly, feeling the entire body touch the ground in deep relaxation. Hold this posture for a few minutes. To release, slowly bring the feet together, unfold the arms, and return to the ordinary prone position.
