National income at current prices (also called Nominal National Income) values a year's output using that same year's prevailing market prices.

When national income is estimated by multiplying the quantities of final goods and services produced in a year by the prices that actually prevailed in that year (not a fixed base year), the resulting figure is called National Income at Current Prices, or Nominal National Income.
