C4H10 has exactly two chain isomers -- a straight (unbranched) chain and a branched chain -- named butane and 2-methylpropane respectively.

Butane's molecular formula is C4H10. The carbon skeleton can be arranged in two distinct ways (chain/structural isomerism):

Isomer 1 -- straight chain:

CH3-CH2-CH2-CH3

All four carbons are in one continuous chain.

IUPAC name: butane (common name: n-butane)

Isomer 2 -- branched chain:

CH3-CH(CH3)-CH3, i.e. a central carbon bonded to three CH3 groups and one H

Here the longest continuous chain is only 3 carbons (propane), with a methyl (CH3) branch on the middle (C2) carbon.

IUPAC name: 2-methylpropane (common name: isobutane)
