[!TLDR]

Le Chatelier's principle states that if a system at equilibrium is subjected to a change in concentration, pressure, volume, or temperature, the equilibrium shifts in the direction that tends to counteract (nullify) the effect of that change. Effect of temperature: for an exothermic reaction, increasing temperature decreases the equilibrium constant Kc (equilibrium shifts backward); for an endothermic reaction, increasing temperature increases Kc (equilibrium shifts forward).
