An isobaric process keeps pressure fixed and lets volume change (so work is done); an isochoric process keeps volume fixed and lets pressure change (so no work is done).

Isobaric process: A thermodynamic process that occurs at constant pressure. As heat is supplied or removed, the volume and temperature of the gas change, but P remains fixed. Since the gas expands or contracts, work is done: W = PΔV (≠ 0 in general).
