Seasonal Unemployment describes a situation where work is available only during certain times of the year. Think of agricultural labourers in rural India who find employment during sowing and harvesting seasons but remain idle during the intervening months. • Regular salaried employees: These individuals work for an employer and receive a fixed monthly salary. Their employment is generally more stable, and they often enjoy social security benefits, such as provident fund, gratuity, pension, and medical leave, as per labour laws and company policies. They have a formal employer-employee relationship, and their terms of employment are usually governed by contracts or service rules.
