After reissue, any amount still left in the Share Forfeiture Account (after absorbing the discount on reissue) is a capital profit, transferred to Capital Reserve — not to Securities Premium, General Reserve, or Profit & Loss Account.

When shares are forfeited, the amount already received from the original allottee(s) is credited to the Share Forfeiture Account. When those forfeited shares are later reissued (often at a discount), that discount is debited to the Share Forfeiture Account. Whatever balance remains after this adjustment represents a genuine gain to the company — money it received from the original shareholder that it keeps, over and above what it needed to make the reissued shares fully paid.

Because this gain did not arise from the company's ordinary trading operations, it is treated as a capital profit and transferred to the Capital Reserve Account:
