Forfeiture reverses Share Capital (Rs. 10/share called) and the Securities Premium not received (Rs. 4/share), keeping only the Rs. 5/share application money actually received; on reissue at Rs. 8, the Rs. 2/share shortfall is met from the forfeited amount, and the balance (Rs. 1,500) goes to Capital Reserve.
