Share Capital in the Balance Sheet = Rs.9,00,000 (90,000 fully-paid Rs.10 shares); the Notes separately disclose Authorised Capital (Rs.20,00,000) and Issued Capital (Rs.10,00,000).

The company's Authorised Capital (Rs.20,00,000, i.e., 2,00,000 shares of Rs.10) and its decision to issue 1,00,000 shares do not by themselves create Share Capital on the Balance Sheet — only shares actually subscribed (applied for and allotted) count as real capital. Here, the public applied for only 90,000 shares, all of which were allotted, and the full amount (application Rs.2 + allotment Rs.5 + final call Rs.3 = Rs.10 per share) was duly received — so these 90,000 shares are fully called-up and fully paid-up.
