Concept of Inclusion in Sports, its need and implementation

The Right to Education makes education a fundamental right of every child between the ages of 6 and 14. This includes children who are physically or mentally challenged, or who live with various disabilities and disorders — every one of them has the right to come to school and develop through education. It is therefore the duty of every school to provide the opportunities that allow such children to learn and grow.

According to the WHO: Disability is an umbrella term covering impairments, activity limitations and participation restrictions. An impairment is a problem in body function or structure; an activity limitation is a difficulty in carrying out a task or action; and a participation restriction is a problem an individual faces in real-life situations. Disability is not a single health problem but a complex phenomenon, reflecting the interaction between the features of a person's body and the features of the society in which she or he lives. …
