Meaning: the second part of the Final Accounts, prepared to find out the Net Profit (or Net Loss) — the overall profit of the business after considering ALL other operating (indirect) expenses and incomes, in addition to the Gross Profit/Loss brought down from the Trading Account.

Items on the debit side: the Gross Loss (if the Trading Account showed one), plus every indirect expense — an operating expense not directly connected with buying/making goods (office salaries, rent, printing and stationery, advertisement, depreciation, interest paid, and so on).
