Any routine where one action is performed repeatedly until a stopping condition — climbing stairs step by step, making chapatis one by one, reading page after page — is real-life iteration, i.e. a loop.

The idea. The repetition construct in algorithms models exactly what we do whenever a task consists of many identical small actions. Recognising the repeated action and the stopping condition in each daily activity is the skill that later turns into writing correct loop bodies and loop conditions.

Routine activities involving repetition (a model list):

ActivityRepeated actionLoop stops when
Climbing stairstake one step upyou reach your floor
Brushing teethone brushing stroketeeth are clean (about 2 minutes)
Making chapatisroll and cook one chapatithe dough is finished
Morning walkcomplete one round of the parktarget rounds/distance done
Reading a bookread one pagethe chapter/book ends
Counting moneycount one note and move to nextno notes remain
Writing lines/homeworkwrite one linerequired number reached
Filling a water bottlekeep pouringthe bottle is full
Skipping ropeone jumptarget count reached
Checking attendancecall one name from the registerevery name has been called

Notice the two flavours of loop hiding here, the same two we meet in pseudocode: …
