Concept Map

Concept Map

This concept map shows how the chapter fits together. A set can be represented in roster or set-builder form; sets come in several types (empty, finite, infinite, subset, universal — with intervals as subsets of the reals); the operations on sets are union, intersection, complement and De Morgan's laws; and Venn diagrams picture all of these relationships.
