Q.Enlist any three (WADA) Anti-Doping Codes which are mentioned in Articles 2.1 to 2.8. Classify the methods of doping in brief.
WADA names eight rule violations (Articles 2.1-2.8); separately, doping methods/substances classify into Physical Methods and Performance-Enhancing Substances.
The eight WADA Anti-Doping Code violations are: (I) Presence of a prohibited substance or method, (II) Use or attempted use of one, (III) Refusing to submit to sample collection after being notified, (IV) Failure to file whereabouts after being notified, (V) Tampering with any part of the doping control process, (VI) Possession of a prohibited substance/method, (VII) Trafficking a prohibited substance/method, and (VIII) Administering or attempting to administer a prohibited substance/method to an athlete.
Separately, the textbook's own doping-classification diagram splits doping into Physical Methods (Blood Doping, Gene Doping, Chemical and Physical Manipulation) and Performance-Enhancing Substances (a wheel including Anabolic Steroids, Peptide Hormone, Glucocortico-steroid, Narcotics, Cannabinoid, Stimulants, Beta-2 Agonist, Diuretics, Beta Blockers, and Hormones & Metabolic Modulators).
Any three of the eight WADA violations (presence, use, refusing sample collection, failure to file whereabouts, tampering, possession, trafficking, administering). Doping classifies broadly into Physical Methods (blood/gene doping, chemical-physical manipulation) and Performance-Enhancing Substances (steroids, hormones, stimulants, narcotics, diuretics, and others).
