For an ideal transformer the turns ratio equals the voltage ratio, giving 100 turns in the secondary.

For an ideal transformer the ratio of secondary to primary voltage equals the ratio of the number of turns:

Vs / Vp = Ns / Np.

Given: Vp = 200 V, Vs = 2000 V, Np = 10 turns.

Solve for Ns:

Ns = Np x (Vs / Vp) = 10 x (2000 / 200) = 10 x 10 = 100 turns.
