Two NOT gates feeding a NOR gate: Y = NOT(A' + B') = A·B, i.e. an equivalent AND gate.
Two NOT gates feeding a NOR gate: Y = NOT(A' + B') = A·B, i.e. an equivalent AND gate.

NOT–NOT into a NOR gives Y = (A' + B')' = A·B → an AND gate.

Trace the circuit: A is inverted to Y₁ = A', and B is inverted to Y₂ = B'. These feed a NOR gate, whose output is the NOR of Y₁ and Y₂:

Y = (Y₁ + Y₂)' = (A' + B')'.

Applying De Morgan's theorem, (A' + B')' = (A')'·(B')' = A·B.

So Y = A·B — this is the AND operation. The equivalent gate is an AND gate.
