Colostrum is the antibody-rich first milk secreted after childbirth, vital for a newborn's immunity.

Colostrum is the yellowish fluid, rich in proteins and antibodies (especially IgA), secreted by the mammary glands during the first few days after parturition (childbirth), before regular/mature milk secretion begins.
