Charge interest on capital (5% on 50,000 / 60,000 / 70,000 = 2,500 / 3,000 / 3,500), then C's salary (1,500 x 12 = 18,000). Deduct these (9,000 + 18,000 = 27,000) from the net profit of 51,000 to get a divisible profit of 24,000, shared equally at 8,000 each.

The Profit and Loss Appropriation Account is prepared after the Profit and Loss Account. The net profit of 51,000 is the credit (the amount available); interest on capital, C's salary and the share of profit are the appropriations debited to it.
