Income from Company X

Dividend per share =8100×10=₹0.80= \dfrac{8}{100}\times10=₹0.80.

Income from 100 shares:

100×0.80=₹80100\times0.80=₹80

Income from Company Y

Dividend per share =6100×100=₹6= \dfrac{6}{100}\times100=₹6.

Income from 50 shares:

50×6=₹30050\times6=₹300
