Teamwork
Teamwork
Teamwork is the collective effort of individuals working together to accomplish a task. Many real-life tasks are too complex for one person to handle alone — they require the contributions of many people. When a group of people pool their skills and efforts toward a shared goal, that is teamwork.
For example, in sports, a team of players works together to win a match. Consider a cricket team. Even if a bowler bowls a good ball, a wicket cannot be taken unless a fielder catches it. The bowler’s effort alone is not enough — the fielder’s effort is equally necessary. To win a cricket match, contributions from all team members are required in all three areas: batting, bowling, and fielding.
Teamwork is not just about dividing work — it is about combining efforts so that each person’s contribution supports and completes the others’. No single individual can achieve the result alone.
