Psychomotor Tests
Psychomotor Tests
Psychomotor tests assess a participant's ability to perceive instructions and perform motor responses - they involve measurements related to movement. In these tests the participant performs motor activities to the best of their ability and neuro-muscular coordination. The range is vast; the textbook divides them into four groups.
Health-Related Fitness Tests
Health-related physical fitness is a set of attributes a person has or achieves that relate to the ability to perform physical activity and that indicate a healthy lifestyle. These tests measure components that require only the person's physical presence, without any physical effort from them - for example, health status through BMI and other somato-type methods, together with basic physiological elements such as heart rate and lung capacity, all of which matter for a healthy lifestyle and can be improved by regular activity.
Physical-Fitness Tests
Physical fitness is a set of attributes relating to the ability to perform physical activity of moderate-to-vigorous intensity and to keep reserve energy for emergencies. It is shown by (1) the ability to carry out daily activities with vigour, and (2) traits associated with a low risk of hypokinetic diseases (those linked to physical inactivity). Physical-fitness tests are designed to assess these attributes.
