Excretion removes metabolic wastes; main organs are kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra (plus skin, lungs, liver).

Excretion is the biological process by which the harmful waste products formed during metabolism — chiefly nitrogenous wastes like urea and uric acid, and also carbon dioxide, excess water and salts — are removed from the body.
