Pseudo force = fictitious force introduced in a non-inertial frame; centrifugal force is one because it exists only in a rotating frame with no real agent.

Newton's laws hold only in inertial (non-accelerating) frames. When we choose to work in a non-inertial (accelerating or rotating) frame, the laws seem to fail unless we add an extra 'force'. This extra imaginary force, equal to -m a_frame (mass times the frame's acceleration, opposite in direction), is called a pseudo force or fictitious force.
