How it is built (order: table → row → cells):

  • <table border="1"> starts the table; the attribute border="1" draws grid lines around the cells.
  • <tr> ... </tr> defines a table row. Here there are two rows — a heading row and a data row.
  • <th> ... </th> defines a heading cell — its text appears bold and centred by default. The heading row uses <th>Roll</th> and <th>Name</th>.
  • <td> ... </td> defines a table data cell — the ordinary cells. The data row uses <td>1</td> and <td>Rina</td>. …
